Pregnancy test - ARE YOU REALLY PREGNANT?
It's very depressing to know that your pregnancy test turns to be negative and then waiting for one long month regaining with hopes to become a mother. It is really advisable to get a quick pregnancy test done once you feel there are a few symptoms of being pregnant.
There are to ways to get a test done; one is urine pregnancy test and the other one is blood pregnancy test. The most reliable out of the two is the blood pregnancy test. The blood pregnancy test gets accurate and early results after only six days of the egg ovulation. This means once the placenta is two weeks the pregnancy is detected. Many women carry this test once they are done with a urine test to confirm the results.
Once you go for a blood test for your temporary satisfaction one can go for a urine test which hardly takes some time. It is also seen that these home pregnancy test have proved to be 97% to 99% accurate which is neither the less. For a proper home pregnancy test there are a few tips to be followed:-
- Read the instructions very carefully once you get the pregnancy test kit.
- If at all you don't understand any point feel free to pick up the phone and call the manufacturer.
- It is a very easy and less time consuming process however many women still find it difficult to use these pregnancy test kits.
- Collect some urine sample if you are doing the test at home.
- Try and do your pregnancy test from your first morning urine (FMU) which would provide accurate results.
- It is also said that wait for a few days from a missed period to get a very accurate pregnancy test result.
So that now you have collected the urine sample in the cup take the stick and put it in the specimen for some time the test results would be shown. There are two boxes one is the control box and the other says the test is positive.
Now that the results are out if both the boxes get colored that means the test is positive and there is a need to call a doctor and if the test is only seen in the control box that means no pregnancy symptoms.
There are different types of pregnancy test kits. Some of them use lines on the test, some use plus signs, some have a single stick which will change its color, and some would have a bowl and a stick to get the urine sample and then conduct the pregnancy test with the stick.
Therefore it is always advised to read instructions very properly before using the pregnancy test kit. It is also necessary for a pregnancy test kit to have a control bar or a box which would define pregnancy test.
